| RAC STARS: Glacial Gala 2010 Perth 2010 Theming, Staging, Lights About RAC STARS: Glacial Gala 2010 Our Client brief was to create a night of winter mystery for RAC's 'night of nights'. The evening is an awards focused event with the emphasis on team-building and fun! The decision was made to separate the main awards stage from the band stage and DJ in order to give the more formal part of the evening more impact. This enables the attendants to be closer to the action and to feel more involved in proceedings. The awards stage was a three screen affair with the middle screen dressed with white profiled winter trees. Simple, elegant and with a modern twist.. White drapes and a white scrim allowed the lighting to follow the theme. The room was dressed with white snowflakes of various sizes hanging amongst beaded crystals. Each table centrepiece was soft focus light with LED crystal box's and alternating white willow trees with crystal drops. Each centrepiece was coordinated with the blue and silver flocked velvet runner with matching blue ribbon bands. Tea lights added to the table details. White chair covers were also a must for the thousand guests. Red carpet runners down each access aisle added to the glamour with smoke machines used to add to the cold. Lighting effects were soft and cool, running through five major room looks for added ambience. In all respects a evening of elegance and glacial splendour.
